Man dies in bathroom; Indian held with liquor

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: The remains of an unidentified person who was found dead inside the bathroom of his apartment in Farwaniya yesterday have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the corpse was found by firemen after someone complained the man had locked himself inside the bathroom. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department are working to determine the cause death.

Liquor with Indian: An Indian expatriate was arrested in Farwaniya Governorate in possession of 1,190 liquor bottles. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department for Public Relations and Media Security explained that Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they ordered the expatriate to pull over based on suspicions. However, when the motorist panicked and tried to flee, securitymen stopped him. They searched his vehicle and found 1,190 bottles of liquor. The suspect was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities where necessary legal measures were taken against him.
