KUWAIT CITY, Jan 29, (KUNA): Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Friday paid an inspection visit to security and traffic points set up along the Arabian Gulf Road whithin the framework of the Hala February 2016 carnival, 55th Kuwait National Day and the 25th anniversary of the Liberation Day.

The Security Media Department of the ministry said in a press statement that the minister congratulated security personnel on the national occasions and the 10th anniversary of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s ascension to power.

The statement said that Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled listened to briefings from various security authorities in charge of securing the carnival, urging them to exert more efforts to make these celebrations joyful occasions for citizens and residents alike. The minister called on his fellow citizens and residents to enjoy the celebrations, stressing that security officers will not hesitate to serve them at anytime.
