Local sports season of the Kuwaiti Camel Racing Club kicks off

KUWAIT, Sept 10: Activities of the local sports season of the Kuwaiti Camel Racing Club for (2022/2023) season kicked off on Saturday at Sheikh Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah racetrack, which included nine runs. The Head of the championship’s committee Hussain Al-Dawwas said in a statement after the race that there was a good participation from lovers and enthusiasts of this authentic sport.

He added that this season will last for seven months and will be held on a weekly basis, stressing that the club intensified its preparations in all organizational, administrative, arbitration and other arrangements, expecting that the season’s competitions will be characterized by strength in all races.

Al-Dawwas pointed out that today’s race witnessed more than 300 participants from all ages, which contributed to increase number of participating camels. He also praised efforts of Kuwaiti camel owners and their keenness to make the season a success(KUNA)
