Livestock pen guard found dead; woman attempts suicide

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: The security guard of a livestock pen was found dead and hanging from the ceiling of one of the rooms inside the livestock pen. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti citizen about the incident, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics and saw the corpse hanging from the ceiling. They pulled down the corpse and referred it to the Forensics Department.

When they questioned the Kuwaiti owner of the livestock pen, he explained that the victim was working as a security guard in the livestock pen and that he was not suffering from anything. Necessary action was taken. A case was registered.

Meanwhile, an Asian woman tried to commit suicide by consuming large quantities of pills inside her sponsor’s house in Abdullah Mubarak area. She has been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit for treatment and will be referred to the police station for investigations following her recovery.
