Liquor peddlers flee police

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: Two individuals abandoned 50 bottles of alcohol in an open area and fled from security operatives in Mangaf. A security source, the duo took to their heels upon sighting patrolmen from Ahmadi Security Directorate Command on a round of Mangaf area. The officers gave them a hot chase but they disappeared through the walls of neighboring buildings. About 50 bottles of local brew which the suspects had left behind were recovered by the officers. A case was registered for investigation to arrest them.
