Liquor factory busted

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 16: Hawally securitymen busted a liquor factory in Rumaithiya and arrested Asian expatriates. According to a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Rumaithiya area when they noticed two Asian expatriates carrying large bags.

As soon as the suspects saw the patrol vehicle, they dumped the bags and took to their heels. Securitymen followed them until they went into a house. They went inside the house to discover it is a liquor factory.

They arrested the two suspects including three more partners, and confi scated liquor manufacturing machinery and 186 bottles of liquor. They also found six bottles of liquor from the bags that the duo had dumped. They also discovered that the suspects did not have any identifi cation documents. The suspects have been referred with the confi scated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
