Liquor factory busted in Mangaf

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Ahmadi securitymen raided an alcohol factory in Mangaf in compliance with the instruction of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs in the Interior Ministry Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarah.

This led to the arrest of two Asians who were operating the alcohol factory where the officers found 56 barrels of local alcohol, 44 gas cylinders and equipment for manufacturing alcohol.

According to a security source, the officers got suspicious when they noticed the two Asians going in and out of an apartment in Mangaf as they were taking alcoholic drinks from there. The officers obtained a warrant from the Public Prosecution to raid the apartment and the suspects were then referred to the Drug Control General Department.
