Life-term for an Indian in a drug trafficking case – Kuwaitis held for drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: An Indian expatriate, who is wanted by law for enforcement of a life sentence, was arrested in Abu Halifa area. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Abu Halifa area when they noticed a man walking fast as soon as he noticed the patrol vehicle. Securitymen followed him and stopped him after which they checked his details to discover he is an Indian expatriate who was sentenced to life imprisonment in a drug trafficking case. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, Mubarak Al- Kabeer securitymen arrested two Kuwaiti citizens under narcotic influence and in possession of a bottle of liquor. They were referred with the liquor bottle to the concerned authorities for investigations.
