Launch of Cinescape in Assima Mall achievement for KNCC

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: In a new achievement that cements the position of the Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) as a pioneer in the field of cinematography and distribution in Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf countries, the latest cinemas of Cinescape were shown in Assima Mall, which is the newest commercial project and a destination for trendy shopping in the heart of Kuwait City, reports Al-Anba daily.

Based on the success of KNCC in providing distinguished experiences for cinema audiences through Cinescape theaters, the company was keen to provide the largest possible capacity in the new halls. Cinescape in Assima Mall accommodates up to 1,300 seats in 13 cinemas equipped with the latest Cinematic display technologies, including latest audio visual equipment. On the occasion of the opening of Cinescape’s newest theater in the Assima Mall, the CEO of KNCC Nasser Bader Al-Roudhan said the opening of the latest theater in the mall is based on the company’s long-term strategy to develop the cinema scene in Kuwait and consolidate KNCC’s presence as a leader in the entertainment sector in the country. He explained that the opening of Cinescape in Assima Mall underlines the company’s commitment to providing the best experiences in cinematic entertainment that meets the aspirations of the public who are movie lovers and looking for innovative experiences.

In this context, the company has been keen to employ the latest cinematic audiovisual display technologies in all of its theaters in a way that elevates viewers’ experiences and provides them with a world-class entertainment experience. Al-Roudhan said, “The cinema has a special attraction for the public in Kuwait, especially since cinema plays an entertainment and cultural role, something which provides captivating cinematic experiences that are full of fun, excitement and suspense”. The luxurious Dolby Cinema stands out among the 13 movie theaters with a capacity of 290 seats to provide visitors with an unparalleled viewing experience, thanks to high dynamic display technologies that allow enhanced colors and superior contrast, and provide realistic images with the smallest details.

In addition, Cinescape in Assima Mall includes the 4DX Screen, the first of its kind in the Middle East, with a capacity of 84 seats. This theater is distinguished by its use of modern display technologies that provide a wide panoramic viewing experience of up to 270 degrees. The Assima Mall also has four VIP movie theaters with a capacity of 185 seats. Cinescape has enhanced the viewers’ experience in the VIP lounges by providing all seats with technologies that allow them to order food and beverages directly to their seats.
