Kuwait’s Under-17 Girls Football Team undergoing training in Austria

Kuwait’s National Football Team of Under-17 Girls is preparing to compete in the West Asia Football Tournament to be held in Bahrain in December, informed sources from the sports sector say.
Deputy Head of Women Committee Sheikha Noora Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah told KUNA on the sidelines of the national team’s training camp in Austria that conducting training camps overseas play an important role in terms of helping players acquire necessary experience and skills.
She affirmed that the Women Committee is working based on a long-term strategy that is aimed at creating a national football team of women for Kuwait.
Sheikha Noora praised the level of performance of the players, and their keenness to obtain utmost benefit from the overseas training camps.
It is worth mentioning that the training camp, which includes 23 players, will last until Aug 15. (KUNA)
