Kuwait’s junior handball achieves fourth place in the Arab Championship in Jordan

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: Kuwait’s junior handball team ranked fourth in the 11th Arab Junior Championship, which concluded in Al-Hussein Youth City in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The Kuwaiti team lost to its Morocco in a penalty shootout 28 – 29, the two teams tied with a score of 25 each in the match at full time. Moroccan team ranked third in the tournament.

Kuwaiti player Abdulaziz Khaled won the best players award in this tournament. Saudi Arabia finished first, Tunisia second, Morocco third, Kuwait fourth, Jordan fifth, and Iraq sixth. The Kuwaiti referees, Maali Al-Enezi and Dalal Al-Naseem, managed the final of the tournament between the Saudi and Tunisian teams.
