Kuwaiti woman escapes rape – Expat stabbed

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: An unknown man was accused of kidnapping and molesting a 23-year-old Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, the woman lodged a complaint at Nugra Police Station, explaining that she was shopping in a commercial complex in the area and had entered a lift with a young man. He then threatened her with a knife, pressed on one of the buttons on the lift and took her to an apartment within the same complex, where he tried to force her into sex. However, she resisted him and managed to escape. Securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the man.

Woman stabbed: Ministry of Interior has launched an intensive investigation to identify and arrest a person who stabbed an expatriate woman many times in the abdomen, reports Al-Anba daily. Report added the victim’s entrails came out of the body due to the incident, and she was admitted to the intensive care unit in critical condition. Apparently, sister of the victim notified officers at the Abu Halifa Police Station that she received a phone call from her sister who lives in Mahboula saying she was dying.
