Kuwaitis dominate professionals – Kuwait Jet Ski competition 2016 2nd round concludes

KUWAIT CITY, May 15: The second round of Kuwait Jet Ski Competition 2016 organized by the Marine Sports Committee at Kuwait Marine Sports Club ended Saturday night. The competition included open contests for professionals, ‘sit down’ and ‘stand up’ style categories for beginners, with tough finishing between participants from Kuwaiti and other Gulf Countries.

The event witnessed a large turnout of spectators. Kuwaiti players Mohammad Bo-Rabee, Rashed Al-Rashed and Abdulrahman Al-Omar won the first three places in the contest for professionals, while Kuwaiti players Bader Al-Qanae and Barrak Al-Qabandi occupied first and second places respectively in the ‘sit down’ contest for beginners wherein Saudi contestant Tareq Al-bokhari came third.

In the ‘stand up’ category, Qatari competitor Waleed Al-Sharsheeni won the first place and two Kuwaitis Bader Al-Shatti and Salem Al-Motawa took the second and third places respectively. UAE national Rashed Al-Mulla came first in the personal water craft category, in which Kuwaiti Player Abdulaziz Al- Matar came second and UAE contestant Mohammad Al-Bloushi took third place. It is worthy of note that the Kuwaiti players advanced to the next stages during the first round of the competition held on March 12.
