Kuwaitis caught collecting donations – Cash meant for India, Bangladesh accounts

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: The security authorities have arrested two Kuwaitis, one of them working for the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor for collecting donations and sending to undisclosed accounts in India and Bangladesh, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The daily, without going into details, said the donations were sent to terrorist organizations. The daily added, the Kuwaitis were arrested after tracing the source of the recipients. Meanwhile, police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti who had been sentenced in absentia to an unidentified jail term, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, the wanted man was seized in Riqqa. He has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department. In an unrelated development, a resident of the Saad Al-Abdullah area called the concerned authorities when he saw juveniles aged between 13 and 15 carrying imitation Kalashnikov rifles roaming the streets imitating DAESH members, reports Al-Rai daily quoting reliable sources. The sources said the eyewitness has provided the security systems pictures of the juveniles which he took with his cell camera
