Kuwaiti woman seeks govt help to get back child from ex-husband

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: A Kuwaiti woman Mona Al-Jeeran has pleaded to both Minister of Interior and Minister Justice to help her get her only child back from the relatives of her divorced husband, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

In her plea, she explained that her former husband wanted to see their daughter and she did not protest as the request was in line with the law.

However, her efforts to get back her daughter were hampered after the daughter spent some time at her father’s house.

She had filed a report at a police station and presented the court order that gives her the custody of her daughter, but she has so far not succeeded in getting her daughter back.

The situation has become more complicated due to the dispute which occurred between her and her ex-husband, making it difficult for her to go and take her daughter
