Kuwaiti stabs officer from Gulf state

KUWAIT CITY, May 14: The Nuwaiseeb Police Station witnessed an unusual incident when a Kuwaiti stabbed an officer from a Gulf state inside the officers’ room in full view of the security men, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to reports both men the Gulf citizen identified only as D.G, born in 1984 and the Kuwaiti, H.H., born in 1980 were taken to the Nuwaiseeb police station following a verbal spat at the Nuwaiseeb border point. The details of the incident show they were involved in a verbal argument which developed into a quarrel and later both men exchanged blows. When the Gulf citizen went to the area police station to file a complaint, police called the Kuwaiti who said he was on his way with a medical report.

The source added as soon as the Kuwaiti arrived, he went straight to the officer and attacked his opponent and stabbed him twice. An ambulance was called and he was rushed to a hospital.

The medical report showed injuries to the left middle finger and left foot, the big finger in the right leg, and a stab wound in the left side which required him to be admitted to the intensive care unit. The source explained the Kuwaiti also submitted a report showing scratches on his scalp and lip.
