Kuwaiti stabbed; Suicide attempted

KUWAIT CITY, June 16: Police are looking for an unidentified person who allegedly stabbed a Kuwaiti during a fight among some youths in Farwaniya and fled the scene, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the victim has been admitted to the Farwaniya Hospital. The cause of the fight is not known.

Suicide attempted: An unidentified girl who is in her late teens, who threw herself from an abandoned building in the Ardhiya Industrial Area out of fear when her brother came looking for her, has been admitted to a hospital with fractures and bruises on her body, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, this happened when the girl was spending time with her friends inside a café she ran inside the abandoned building.

Man held with drugs: An unidentified Kuwaiti upon orders from the Security Director of the Hawalli Governorate has been arrested for possessing a quantity of heroin and narcotic pills, reports Al-Anba daily. Police records showed the man had been sentenced in absentia for failing to pay KD 7,000 debt. He was taken to the police station before handing him over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
