Kuwaiti says Moroccan wife unfaithful

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: Hind El-Achchabi, a famous Moroccan businesswoman, hit the headlines after her Kuwaiti diplomat husband revealed that one of his daughters is not his as she is the product of his wife’s affair with prominent Moroccan businessman Mohsin Karim Bennani, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Kuwaiti diplomat filed a lawsuit against his wife accusing her of fraud, corruption and betrayal. The Kuwaiti diplomat married Hind in 2007 after a love story with the owner of DALIA AIR.

Life continued between the couple until last June when the heart of the husband was filled with doubts about the behavior of his wife. He suspected Bennani, a millionaire investor in the aviation sector, as he noticed the latter getting close to his wife.

When he confronted his wife, she collapsed because the matter is linked to her honor, while saying she has been faithful to her husband for years. The husband wanted to end his doubts so he requested for DNA testing of the second daughter and the result showed the father turned out to be Bennani.

Sensing danger, El-Achchabi decided to leave Morocco through Rabat Sale Airport, but a directive on her arrest has been issued. She and her lover are under investigation on charges of fraud, corruption and betrayal.

According to the testimony of the doctor, Hind tried to abort her daughter but since she was in the seventh month of pregnancy, the doctor found it difficult to carry out the procedure.

During investigation, Bennani said he got married to Hind after her divorce from the Kuwaiti husband and they went to Mali. He presented a marriage contract to support his claim, but intensive investigations revealed they did not go to Mali.
