Kuwaiti husband attempts to kill his wife

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: The Farwaniya Prosecutor has issued an arrest warrant against an unidentified Kuwaiti, whose wife has filed a complaint with the area police station accusing the man of breaking into the house of her father and attempting to kill her, reports Al-Anba daily. The warrant was issued after the wife complained to the area police station that she left the house of her husband following a dispute between them and went to her family home.

The husband allegedly followed her and barged into the home and damaged the windows and doors of the house and went screaming at his wife and threatened to kill her. The wife said, at this point she closed herself inside the bathroom while her brother tried to control her husband who is three years older than her. When technicians from the Criminal Evidences Department they saw the suspect with knife in hand at the entrance to the house. The case has been registered under ‘domestic violence’ and attempt to murder.
