Kuwaiti detained for possessing an unlicensed revolver and assaulting his wife

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2:  Jaber Al-Ali police detained a 24-year-old Kuwaiti man for possessing an unlicensed revolver and assaulting his wife, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source revealed the wife lodged a complaint at Jaber Al-Ali Police Station against her husband who allegedly threatened her with a pistol and assaulted her.

She submitted a medical report to substantiate her claim. The young man’s brother-in-law also filed a complaint accusing him of threatening him with the firearm. An hour later, the father brought his son and the firearm to the police station. The husband admitted to the act and said he was angry due to previous disputes with his wife.
