Kuwaiti Businesswoman cheated by relative

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: A Kuwaiti woman filed a case against one of her relatives, accusing him of giving her a dud cheque of KD 30,000. According to a security sources, the woman explained to securitymen at Nugra Police Station that she owns a general trading company and she had sold equipment worth KD 30,000 to one of her relatives.

However, when she tried to encash the cheque, she discovered there was no money in the account. Securitymen will summon the suspect to the police station for investigations. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen was detained at Nuwaiseeb border checkpoint for possessing e-cigarettes with e-liquids suspected to be illegal.

According to sources, Nuwaiseeb customs checked the citizen to find e-cigarettes and other smoking items with suspicious odor and illegal e-liquids. Necessary action was taken and investigations have been launched in this regard.
