Kuwait Youth Authority launches 2nd location for people with disabilities

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: Kuwait’s Youth Authority launched on Thursday its second Football Academy site for people with special needs, aged between 14 to 30 years at Daiya Youth Center. The Authority, in a press release, said the site will receive those with moderate intellectual disability, moderate cerebral palsy, motor disability and hearing disability.

It added that training days will be weekly on Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Shamiya’s Youth Center is the first location for the Football Academy for people with disabilities such as attention-deficit, hyperactivity and learning difficulties, noting that registration is via the authority’s website (www.youth.gov.kw) (KUNA)
