ISU’s approval will grow this game for girls in the country with opportunities in gaining experiences through international participation, as they will participate more after this accession in the most vital international tournaments, he explained. He valued the efforts of Kuwait Olympic Committee in facilitating the club joining ISU, which comes within the framework of the committee’s support for sports federations and specialized clubs, underlining the club’s keenness to develop its five games such as ice hockey and skating. Whether a person fancies ice hockey, figure or speed skating, they can find what they desire at the Bayan ice skating rink, the home of the Kuwait Winter Games Club. The club – operating under the umbrella of the Public Authority for Sports (PAS) – welcomes all between the ages of 5-15 all year long. (KUNA)
