Kuwait weightlifting competition concludes

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26, (KUNA): The Kuwait Boxing and Weightlifting Association’s tournament has concluded with a prize-giving ceremony. The competition was a good chance for harnessing Kuwaiti athletes’ capacities and preparing them for regional and international championships, the association’s Secretary General Messelim Al-Edwani said at the closing ceremony.
He lauded athletes’ performance, enthusiasm and steadily improving records. The five-day event held at the association premises and comprised competitions for three categories: youngsters, joiners and seniors.
