Kuwait to host Asian Bowling Competition

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: Kuwait will host the Asian Bowling Competition from Oct 20, says Director General of Public Authority for Sport Dr Humoud Fulaitah.

In a press release, he affirmed that the event will enhance Kuwait’s ties with regional and international sport organizations after the lifting of the ban on Kuwaiti sports.

Fulaitah praised the efforts exerted by the organizing committee and other relevant committees to portray Kuwait in an image that matches its sports history, insisting that he trusts the Chairman of Board of Directors of Kuwait Bowling Club Sheikh Talal Al-Muhammad Al-Sabah and the members of the Board of Directors in organizing the competition in the best possible manner.

He stressed that the bowling sport is popular and attracts individuals of different age groups, revealing that new branches of Kuwait Bowling Club will be opened to cover most areas of Kuwait.

Fulaitah affirmed that the competition will be the first official competition to be held in the bowling complex following its inauguration by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
