Kuwait parliament approves recommendations on state financial status

KUWAIT, Sept 9: The National Assembly approved a number of recommendations on the state’s financial status, after hearing the Minister of Finance’s presentation on the matter, during a private session on Wednesday.
The session was held upon the government’s request to discuss the state’s financial status in accordance with article 69 of the assembly’s regulations, said Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim in his speech after moving to the public session.
Article 69 states that the assembly holds public sessions and can become private upon the request of the government or at least ten MPs (KUNA)
