Kuwait Municipality goes paperless to limit the spread of coronavirus

KUWAIT, June 24 The Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Engineer Ahmed Al-Manfuhi, announced today, to stop all paper correspondence and launch work by electronic correspondence in support of the precautionary measures taken by the state to combat the new Corona virus (Covid 19) and taking into account safety requirements and instructions of the Ministry of Health.

Ahmed Al-Manfuhi said in a press statement that paper correspondence was prevented and circulated within all sectors of the municipality and its various organizational units and their branches in the governorates except for the original official documents and survey plans as well as correspondence received from government ministries that do not work on the electronic messaging program (G2G).

He emphasized the completion of the electronic messaging system inside and outside the municipality and the readiness of all its sectors and departments to work on the electronic messaging program in addition to linking the municipality with all government agencies to exchange correspondence electronically (KUNA)
