Kuwait Interpol seeks arrest of Egyptian wanted for murder – Man on visit kills enemy, flees back to his country

KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Kuwaiti Interpol has requested its Egyptian counterpart to arrest the suspect who has been identified as Ameen Desouky Sayed Abduljalil living in Bani Hilal Village in the Assiut Governorate for killing 26-year-old Dahi Khamees Dahi also from Assiut, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily said the Egyptian Ministry of Manpower is following up with the labor consultant at the Egyptian Consulate in Kuwait to know more details about the crime. However, according to some reports the suspect came to Kuwait with the intention of committing the crime.

The Al-Anba daily added, as soon as the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a call from a Lebanese who saw the two men fighting in Khaitan, securitymen rushed to the spot and found one of them lying in a pool of blood and rushed him to the Farwaniya Hospital.

However, the victim who was apparently stabbed died upon arrival and police investigations revealed the victim was stabbed in the back and stomach. Police investigations also revealed the suspect had escaped from the country immediately after committing the crime.
