Kuwait Heritage Team congratulates Al-Seyassah/Arab Times

KUWAIT CITY, April 8: The Kuwaiti Heritage Team, headed by Anwar Al-Sayyed Muhammad Al- Rufae, congratulated Al-Seyassah newspaper on its golden jubilee with a very distinguished gift. The gift is the first copper coin used in Kuwait during the era of Abdullah bin Sabah The Second in 1887.

On one side of the coin is the inscription: “Kuwait 1304 Hijri”, while on the other side is the seal of Abdullah Al-Sabah. The coin was not globally accredited and it was used for almost a month only. It was taken from the people and then destroyed; hence, it is considered very rare.

The gift came with a congratulatory card from the head of the Kuwaiti Heritage Team who praised the daily for its efforts to uphold the highest level of credibility and professionalism, wishing the newspaper more achievements and success in its journalism endeavor
