Kuwait Embassy in UK: PCR certificate mandatory for all travelers

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the United Kingdom stated that those who wish to travel to Kuwait need to obtain PCR certificate accredited health certificate proving that the passenger is negative from coronavirus(COVID 19.

The embassy stated in a press statement due to resumption of commercial flights from Heathrow Airport to Kuwait International Airport, a number of travelers have not obtained a medical certificate proving that they are free from coronavirus infection.

The health authorities in the State of Kuwait require a medical certificate whose validity does not exceed 96 hours, calling for the need to obtain this certificate in order to avoid cancelation of their travel plan.

The health authorities in the State of Kuwait are still imposing a quarantine of 14 days for all arrivals from all destinations, and after quarantine period it is mandatory to wear masks in public places. (KUNA)
