Kuwait condoles losses in Japan, Philippine storms

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to Emperor of Japan Naruhito on Monday, over the victims of the blizzard that hit several areas across the country, killing and injuring many people, while destroying different buildings and properties. His Highness the Amir wished the injured a speedy recovery and hoped Japan would soon overcome the aftermath of the natural disaster. His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a similar cable of condolences to Emperor of Japan Naruhito over the victims of the blizzard.

In the cable, His Highness the Amir wished for the swift recovery of those injured in the floods and hoped for the safety and welfare of the leadership and people of the Philippines.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable on Monday to the President of the Philippines expressing sorrow over destruction and loss of life caused by the floods in various regions of the country.
