Kuwait club takes lead, defeats Al Nasr

KUWAIT, Aug 15: Kuwait Club took the lead in the Kuwaiti Premier League STC football league on Saturday, after beating Al-Nasr (2-0) in the postponed 11th round.

The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw. In the second half, the Kuwait Club players came up with an extra ordinary performance and scored two goals through Ahmed Al-Zanki in the 55th minute and Fahd Al-Hajri in the 74th minute, to increase points of winner to 33 points, while Al-Nasr are stuck with 12 points.
