Kuwait clinch 3rd place in motocross tourney in Qatar

DOHA, Oct 22, (KUNA): Kuwait’s moto rider Mishari Bo Shaibah won the third place in the first round (Race 1) competitions of the Qatar International Endurocross championship Friday.

The event saw some competitive and strong performances by the participants, Bo Shaibah told KUNA, adding that over 15 prominent riders from all around the world are taking part in the championship.

He also praised his fellow Kuwaiti riders during the races, including Mohammad Jaafar, Abdullah Al-Shatti, and Moaath Al-Ansari, adding that they have shown some great skills that qualify them for regional and international tournaments.

The Kuwaiti rider also commended the efforts exerted by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) in making the event successful and shedding light on the sport.

According to QMMF’s website, endurocross off-road races are designed to test the endurance and off-road desert riding skills of the rider mixing enduro with motocross.

Each race will be run over a mix of different types of desert terrain and will last for 30 minutes plus one lap. The Championship is four rounds and each round consists of two races.
