Kuwait and Burgan clubs qualify for the semi-finals of the Crown Prince Cup

KUWAIT, Jan 3: Kuwait and Burgan clubs qualified today for the semi-finals of 28th His Highness the Crown Prince Football Cup, after their victory over Al-Sahel and Fahaheel, respectively, in the quarter-finals.

Kuwait Club scored two goals in the match that was held at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, Fahd Al-Hajri in the 46th minute, and Talal Al-Fadhel in the 56th minute scored goals respectively, Kuwait club will face Burgan, in the semi-final round.

In the other match, which was held at Al Shabab Stadium, Burgan beat Fahaheel with a score (3-1) after they tied at full time with a score of (1-1). Burgan scored the first goal through its player Youssef Saad in the 29th minute, equalizer for Fahaheel came from a penalty kick by Mohammed Abdel Hadi, to end full time game in a tie. In extra time Burgan succeeded in scoring two goals through Khaled bin Yahya in the 96th minute and Giovanni in the 115th minute.
