Kuwait Amir congratulates public on advent of Eid Al-Fitr

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated Kuwait’s nationals and expatriates on the advent of the festive celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, according to the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.

Seperately, the Amiri Diwan sent its best wishes on the occassion to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah along with Arab and Islamic nations. The Amiri Diwan prayed that the nation remain safe under its wise leadership.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah conveyed his warmest greetings to Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa via telephone on Monday, ahead of the Muslim Eid Al-Fitr holiday that marks the end of Ramadan. His Highness the Amir wished the two Gulf neighbors, as well as the wider Arab region, continued prosperity and development, while in return, the Bahraini king was appreciative of the kind gesture which encapsulates the camaraderie shared by Kuwait and Manama.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call on Monday from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who wished him well ahead of the Muslim Eid Al-Fitr holiday. The Turkish leader expressed his heartiest wishes to both countries over the joyous occasion, while His Highness the Amir thanked him for the warm sentiments and wished the friendly country the utmost of success and prosperity.

His Highness the Amir on Monday congratulated, via phone, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr. His Highness the Amir prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his blessings upon King Salman. His Highness the Amir also wished many happy returns of the dear occasion for both Arabian Gulf nations as well as the Arab and Muslim worlds. King Salman extended his gratitude to His Highness the Amir for the phone call, wishing him everlasting wellbeing and Kuwait more progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday received a telephone call from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman on Eid al-Fitr, which is expected on Wednesday or Thursday. During the call, Sultan Haitham expressed sincere wishes and blessings to His Highness the Amir on the advent of Eid al-Fitr, praying to Allah the Almighty that this occasion will be repeated with goodness and blessings on the two countries and their peoples, and Islamic and Arab nations. Sultan Haitham wished His Highness the Amir everlasting good health, and Kuwait all progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir. Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir expressed appreciation and thanks to the Sultan for his fraternal call that embodies the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries and their peoples. In addition, His Highness the Amir wished Sultan Haitham well-being health, and Oman and its people further progress and development under the wise leadership of the Sultan.
