Kuwait Airport receives 10,000 passenger from various destinations

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: With the new decision coming into force, a home quarantine for those coming to Kuwait, 65 flights arrived at Kuwait International Airport carrying 10,000 passengers while 99 flights departed to various destinations under strict health protocol.

Flights arrived from India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, London, Turkey and Paris. All the flights were on schedule, there were no changes or cancellations of some destinations, reports Al Qabas. The movement at Kuwait International Airport was normal and smooth without any obstacles. It emphasized the need for a booster dose and installing My identity or Immunity App for all arrivals. The health team emphasized on health protocol.

As per new decision all arriving passengers have to produce a PCR test negative certificate valid for 48 hrs before arrival and home quarantine of 10 days. If quarantine of 10 days needed to be ended then PCR test needs to be performed after 72 hrs of arrival in Kuwait provided the test result is negative.

The airport is still operational for commercial flights and coordination is in full swing with all authorities operating at the airport to follow up on any new developments.
