Khalaf Ahmad Al-Habtoor receives religious clerics from Lebanon

Khalaf Ahmad Al-Habtoor, the Board Chairman of Al-Habtoor Group Monday, June 20 held an Iftar party in Dubai in honor of a delegation of religious clerics from Lebanon. According to a press release, Dean of Journalism and Editorin- Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al- Jarallah also attended the event.

The delegation from Lebanon, who visited Al-Habtoor to wish him on the Holy Month of Ramadan, included the prominent Shiite cleric Sheikh Ali El Charif Mohammad El-Amine, Secretary General of the Higher Sharia Council in Lebanon Sheikh Khaldoun Oraymet and Sheikh Mohammad Hassan Ali El Amine.

The delegation offered their well wishes to the Chairman Al- Habtoor and thanked him for his ongoing support in Lebanon, especially since the Khalaf Ahmad Al-Habtoor Foundation recently distributed thousands of food parcels to the needy across Lebanon.

They also praised Al-Habtoor for his strong belief in the country and his ongoing support through investments in Lebanon. During the event, the delegation held discussions with Ahmed Al-Jarallah about the situation in Lebanon and various issues.

Before the event came to an end, Al-Habtoor thanked the delegation for visiting the United Arab Emirates and expressed his desire to see security and stability return to Lebanon. He said, “We cannot allow Lebanon to slip back into civil war.

The Lebanese people have suffered for far too long, yet they remain resilient, generous and hospitable. Lebanon deserves to prosper once again”. Al-Habtoor praised the group for working together for the betterment of the country, adding, “You set a good example for everyone”.
