KD 8 million spent paying Non Kuwaiti employees of Ministry of Education

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: A total of KD 8 million was spent in the fiscal year of 2014/2015 for paying the salaries of non-Kuwaiti employees of Ministry of Education, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting informed sources. They said the ministry is seeking functionality stability for all employees, affirming that all benefits, allowances and promotions are valid. The sources revealed that the ministry has requested Civil Service Commission to increase the number of social researchers, which was suspended based on the government’s plan for rationalization of expenditures.

DUES: The Kuwaiti banks have adopted a new policy to pursue clients and employees who have left the country for good without settling their dues with the banks or failed in their commitments and those accused of corruption, reports Al-Rai daily quoting reliable banking sources. The same sources said the banks will hire lawyers in the respective countries to prosecute the defaulters.
