Kazma club and Kuwait club win in 34th Arab Basketball Club Championship

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: Kuwait Clubs Al Kuwait and Kazma continued their victories in the 34th Arab Men’s Basketball Championship. Total 16 teams are participating for the title. Kazma club won against Bahrain’s Al Ahly 90:77 in the match that was held at the Kuwait Club hall.

Al Kuwait club defeated Syrias Al Ahly Aleppo 67:59 at the Kuwait Basketball Federation Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex for Indoor Halls. Excellent performance of Kuwait Club helped to snatch victory in the last minutes of the game.

Egypts, Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria are one of the favourites to win the title, they defeated Libya’s Al-Ahly Benghazi with a score of 122:64. Lebanese Riyadi Club managed to win its first match in the tournament against Qatari Al-Gharafa, with a score of 84:66. The Lebanese Beirut Club defeated Algeria’s Wedad Boufarik 88:74. While Omans Al-Bashaer Club defeated Al-Sadd of Qatar 92:86
