Karaar wins 12th meet 6th setting race – Ghatafan, Shaqaran, Al-Imam, Sufyan, Duhaam triumph

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: The horse Karaar from Abu Sheiba Stable won the 1,400-meter sixth setting race for Class 1 horses by completing it within 1:30:94 minutes in the Businessman Mohammad Muta’eb Al-Shallahi Horseracing Festival, which concluded during the 12th meet of Farwaniya Equestrian Club at Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Racecourse.

According to a press release, the second place was taken by the horse Dar’awi from Al-Shallahi Stable and the third place by the horse Yakram from Al-Khalidi and Al-Abdali Stable.

In 1,600-meter race of fifth setting for Class 2 horses, the horse Ghatafan from Al-Seihan Stable took first place within 1:45:11 minutes.

In the 1,600-meter race of first setting for Class 4 horses, the horse Shaqaran from Eid Al-Shimmari Stable came first by clocking 2:02:63 minutes.

In the 2,400-meter race of second setting for Class 4 horses, the horse Al-Imam from Al-Qannaie Stable came first within 2:45:73 minutes.

The 1,000-meter race of third setting for Class 3 horses was won by the horse Sufyan from Al-Qannaie Stable within 1:02:70 minutes.

The 1,800-meter race of fourth setting for Class 3 horses was won by the horse Duhaam Al-Kheil from Al-Khodr Stable in 2:01:58 minutes.

The winners were honored by the sponsor of the festival Mohammad Al-Shallahi, who was accompanied by the Board Director of Farwaniya Equestrian Club Mubarak Al-Daihani, and the Secretary General of the club Mohsin Al-Bitaal.

More than a hundred jockeys and horses from various stables participated in the competition, which represents a record number of participation in the level of Kuwait horse racing at a single meet.
