‘Kalamata’ olive from Egypt banned

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has banned importation of the Egyptian product, Kalamata olive, as it was found to contain profenofos beyond the maximum permissible limit according to the accredited specifications , reports Alrai daily. On the other hand, the ministry lifted the ban on importation of omelet from France.
