Jumaa criticizes local TV drama

The artiste Ali Jumaa criticized the local TV drama and accused the perpetrators of distorting the image of the Kuwaiti society by showing it negatively in recent years, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The artiste blamed the writers in the first place for this frightening decline after it offended its components without taking into account the mother, father, wife, sister, brother and others.

“I think we are facing a real crisis in the absence of the TV script, which is the pillar of this work,” said Jumaa

It is our real crisis that must be confronted and recognized and work to find effective solutions, so that it can be developed and provide deserved television work.

He pointed out that during the last Ramadan dozens of serials were presented which left only a trace of one or two work, which confirms that the art scene lacks distinguished directors, and from “my point of view” also did not exceed the two.
