Jordanian working on jewellery shop escapes with KD 10,000

KUWAIT CITY, May 17: An Egyptian attorney has filed a complaint with the Nugra Police Company on behalf of a company accusing a Jordanian employee of the company of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Anba daily. In his compliant, the complainant reported that the Jordanian solid 717 gram of gold from a shop affiliated to the company worth KD 10 thousands and escaped with the money. The name of suspect was enrolled in the blacklist.

Woman cheat arrested: Plainclothes police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti woman for swindling Kuwaitis and expatriates, most of them Arabs, by selling them real estate in Turkey and in Arab countries and the West, real estate which did not exist, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added the woman was arrested on suspicion and when police checked her documents, they discovered she was wanted by law. She has been handed over to the concerned authorities.

KD 500 stolen from bank: An Egyptian has filed a complaint with the Salwa Police Station accusing an unidentified person of stealing KD 500, reports Al- Shahed daily. According to the story, the victim went to a bank branch and used his ATM card to withdraw KD 500. After completing the process, he did not get the money and the man thought the transaction may have failed. A little while later he received a message saying KD 500 has been successfully withdrawn from his account. When he checked with the bank, the CCTV showed an unidentified person walking away with the money.
