Jailed military officers let out

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20, (KUNA): The National Guard announced on Monday that military personnel imprisoned for restraint breach would be freed on the occasion of the national days.

The decision to release the imprisoned personnel is in line with orders by His Highness the Chief of the National Guards, Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah and his deputy, Sheikh Meshaal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber A-Sabah, the Guards said in a statement.

It quoted His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali as congratulating His Highness the Amir, also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah and commanders of the Guards on the 56th Independence Anniversary, 26th Liberation Anniversary and the 11th anniversary of His Highness the Amir’s ascending to the top post
