Iraq’s foreign Ministry values Kuwait’s role in improving cooperation

BAGDHAD, Nov 23: The Iraqi Foreign Ministry valued Tuesday the major Kuwaiti role in enhancing bilateral relations. The Ministry’s undersecretary for multi-lateral and legal affairs, Qahtan Taha, discussed with Kuwait’s Ambassador to Iraq Salem Al-Zamanan the file of mutual cooperation over the last years, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Moreover, Taha praised Kuwait’s efforts in supporting Iraq in diverse fields and its desire to maintain these relations on sustainable basis. Taha affirmed the Iraqi Government keenness on improving further the bilateral relations, resolving all hanging issues between the two states and establishing cooperation on grounds of balanced bonds and joint interests.(KUNA)
