Industries and Construction 6th Expo launched with wide participation – We strive to make Kuwaiti products competitive in construction field: Mashaly

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: The 6th Cycle of the Industries and Construction Exhibition was launched on Monday, Dec 5, under the auspices of Yasser Abul, Minister of State for Housing Affairs, organized by Expo-Tag for Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with National Industries Company, at Jumeirah Hotel — Kuwait, which will run until Dec 8, with the participation of several government agencies and more than 70 companies specialized in the construction sector, in addition to attendance of many Gulf businessmen and merchants in this field.

The opening of the exhibition was witnessed the presence of Ali Mohammad Thanian Al-Ghanim, Chairman Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry, plus the General Manager of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Eng Badr Al woqayan, National Industries Company Deputy Chairman and CEO, Dr Adel Khaled Al-Sabieh, Deputy Chairman and General Manager of Kuwait Credit Bank Salah AlMudhaf, and representatives from Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Electricity & Water, Kuwait Municipality, and the Executive Manager of Expo-Tag, Mrs Dalia Wafaai , in addition to the presence of Kuwait Foundation for Scientific Advancement to present youth’s innovations.

On this occasion, Marketing Manager at Expo-Tag for Exhibitions and Conferences, Wael Mashaly, said that this important event became a national annual event, during which the local industry and national products are highlighted in the field of construction, design, decoration, and all that is need in the various stages of the construction process, and its products. A fact confirmed by the participation of many active companies in this field, coming together under one roof to offer the services needed by people in this framework.

Meshaly added that the exhibition is characterized as usual by the sponsorship and participation of many governmental bodies relevant to the construction sector such as Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Kuwait Municipality, Ministry of Electricity & Water, Kuwait Credit Bank, Ministry of Public Works, in addition to the participation of Kuwait Foundation for Scientific Advancement and Sabah Al Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity.
