Indian peddler held; wanted Indian woman’s flee bid foiled

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: The Farwaniya police have arrested an Indian for trafficking in shabu, reports Al- Shahed daily. The daily added, the suspect looked confused when he saw a patrol car. Police have reported seized 51 sachets of the drug from the suspect. The suspect and the contraband have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.

Meanwhile, security authorities at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested an unidentified Indian woman for attempting to leave the country illegally. The daily added, the woman is wanted by law on a theft charge. The case was filed against her in 2015. She has been handed over to the authorities.
