KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: After two years of diplomatic row between the Indian embassy in Kuwait and Ministry of Health, the issue of Indian nurses who were hired without vacancies available for them is expected to be referred to the Public Prosecution in the next few days, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The daily quoting sources pointed out that the file will be referred to the Public Prosecution based on an investigation conducted by the Ministry of Health that uncovered a major administrative error in the procedure of appointment coupled with the Indian embassy’s resolve to escalate the issue after employees involved in the violation that led to the crisis were identified.

It is noteworthy that official committees hired several Indian nurses to work at the Ministry of Health and after completing their residency procedures discovered there were no vacancies for them. The sources added that the Indian embassy intervened more than once with the aim of finding a solution to the issue but all attempts to find temporary solutions proved futile.
