Indian held with 5 kilos heroin

KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control have arrested an Indian for trading in heroin and meth drugs, reports Al-Rai electronic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the suspect was put under surveillance for some time and caught red-handed while selling two grams of heroin to an undercover police agent.
The detectives then raided the home of the suspect in Fahaheel and seized five kilos of heroin and 250 grams of shabu, believed to be worth KD 350,000 on the black market. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control
Kuwaitis arrested: Two Kuwaiti citizens who are wanted by law for nonpayment of debts totaling almost quarter of a million dinars were arrested separately in Farwaniya area, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen, based on instructions from the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs of Ministry of Interior Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, were patrolling the area when they stopped a Kuwaiti citizen and checked his details to discover he is wanted by law for nonpayment of debt worth KD 202,000. They also arrested another Kuwaiti citizen against whom a case was filed for nonpayment of debt worth KD 86,000. Both suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
