Indian Expat accused of facilitating entry of ‘deported’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: An Indian expatriate who works for an aviation company was arrested for facilitating the entry of deported individuals and helping them obtain residencies.

In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Media Security explained that the General Department of Residency Investigation Affairs had received information that the suspect has been facilitating entry procedures for expatriates who were deported from Kuwait for different reasons and that he collected sums ranging from KD 1,000 to KD 1,500 from them after they received their residencies.

Immediately, a team was formed to carry out investigations. Eventually, the suspect was arrested and when questioned, he admitted to committing the abovementioned crimes.
